Top Ten Tips to Help You Get the Very Best Family Portrait
- Wear shirts that have similar tones (all dark or all light or all medium).
- Wear dark shoes and dark socks (particularly with dark pants).
- Avoid large prints, stripes and logos.
- Long sleeves are better than short sleeves and pants are better than shorts or short skirts.
- Everyone should wear the same type of pants or skirts (jeans, khakis, etc.)
- Wear an empty pair of eyeglass frames, especially if you have glasses that go dark in bright light.
- Wear makeup slightly heavier than normal.
- Avoid bright colors, such as red or yellow.
- Keep jewelry to sentimental pieces.
