Hillside Studio is a full–service professional photography studio and framing gallery located just outside Freeport, Illinois. We specialize in portraiture for high school seniors, families, children, weddings, publicity and pets. Our goal is to give every client timeless portraits they will be able to treasure for a lifetime. We aim to capture each individual's personality as well as match your portraits to reflect your taste and style.

Our location guarantees an exclusive look for your portraits, both indoor and outdoor. The property includes beautiful scenery set in the middle of eighty acres of landscaped countryside. In the middle of all this beauty is our 4,000 square–foot studio, as well as staged outdoor sets such as a white victorian front porch, a rustic barn set, an earthy adobe set and an alley wall with spiral staircase.

If you are a senior and interested in our sessions, please refer to Girls or Guys sections. We offer something for everyone, whether you are looking for a simple session to get one or two traditional portraits or if you want something much more elaborate. Session fees do not include any finished portraits. They do include our expertise in lighting and posing to make you look your best. Our wisdom and artistic vision to prepare your proof collection and the use of our studio and outdoor locations that have been specially prepared to help get the very best portraits for you to choose from.

Every senior, family and newly–engaged couple are eligible to set up a free consultation. This is the time we discuss what you are looking for in your portraits and, therefore, which package may suit your needs the best. We also go over outfit selections, collections you are bringing and any other information we may need to ensure we are listening to your wishes and your images turn out excellent! Session fees are paid when your session is booked.
